HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD premiered in a special rehearsal script edition to coincide with the London West End premiere of Jack Thorne's play in summer 2016. Based on an original new story by J. K. Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne, the play received rave reviews from audiences and critics, while the scripted version became a global bestseller.

This remastered edition includes the play's final and final lines, which underwent minor changes after rehearsals, as well as a conversation between director John Tiffany and screenwriter Jack Thorne, where they share stories and tips on reading scripts. Finally, it includes useful information about the family tree of the Potter family as well as a chronology about the Wizarding World before this eighth story.
