Fokion - a lad who looks like a deer - comes from a fantastic country, where people talk to animals. Fokion realizes that there are places where some deprive the freedom and dignity of other inhabitants. And he decides to act. The adventures of himself and his friends bring to the reader's mind conditions similar to those we have experienced in our country - junta of colonels and uprising of the Polytechnic, Turkish invasion of Cyprus - but also in other parts of the world.
A story full of action, but also emotion, which now belongs to the classic texts of modern Greek literature for children and which now the author himself renewed in a completely unexpected way.
